Introduction Vishal Bazaar Company Limited was registered under the Companies Act, 2063 (the then Companies Act, 2021) in the Department of Commerce on 14/04/2026 and in the Department of Industry on 27/04/2026 and has been operating since the year 2026. Its registered office is in Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 24 Sukrapath, Kathmandu. The foundation stone of Vishal Bazar Bhavan was laid on May 29, 2026. When the then King Mahendra saw large departmental stores while traveling abroad, he ordered a huge market to be established in Nepal in a modern building to facilitate shopping and increase commercial activity.
